I had the pleasure of taking some more Easter photos with another baby girl the other day. Hazel is getting so big and she’s a lot more mobile now. I have been extremely busy lately, which unfortunately has not left much time for photography. I had a wonderful Easter session today with the Glos family. Here is a sneak peek from today. I’m excited to start editing and get more posted. Many more to come!
It was an absolute pleasure taking Christmas photos of Avery and Hazel. They are both beautiful and they made the session so much fun. There is always a unique challenge when taking photos of toddlers. They definitely have control of the room and you have to be ready to go when they suddenly decide that they are ready. Even if it’s just for a few seconds. As far as toddlers go Hazel was very cooperative and she is such a happy and smiley girl. Here is a sneak peak of their photos from yesterday with more to come.
Today I had the pleasure of photographing the Shephard family. Thankfully the weather is still warm enough for outdoor sessions, although the wind was not our friend! This family was fantastic to work with and the children were full of so much energy, yet very cooperative. It was a wonderful Sunday morning. It’s hard to believe that this little princess is now 5 years old! This year for her birthday photo shoot she picked her favorite princesses and we got creative. From the classics like Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora to more recent princesses like Belle and Jasmine, this little girl loves them all. She is wearing the tiara that her mom wore on her wedding day and many of the dresses were hand-made. This little girl loves being a princess and playing dress up and was a true joy to photograph. I can’t believe that this little gem is 4 months old already. She is a beautiful baby girl with gorgeous eyes and a beautiful smile. Her mother and I are already planning her 6 month photo shoot. It truly is a pleasure to take this beautiful girls picture.
Tonight I had the pleasure of capturing Hazel’s first birthday moments. She was an absolute pleasure to work with bringing nothing but smiles. This adorable little girl melts my heart with her beautiful eyes. You can find more pictures of Hazel here.
Brand new babies are just the best. They’re so cute and snuggly and boy are they ever photogenic! Baby Skyla was born on April 30, 2016 and I had the privilege of photographing her on May 1st at just one day old in the hospital.
She has two older brothers that will be her greatest protectors and a loving mother and father that will raise her like a princess. Please check out the Photography section of this site for more one-day-old pictures of beautiful Skyla.
While I was in the Dominican for Angela and Justin’s wedding I was also able to capture some beautiful images of this engaged couple. They are very excited for their wedding in August and I am excited to be a part of it as well. For more pictures of their engagement please click here.
Although I don’t usually photograph weddings, I recently had the pleasure of being the photographer at a destination wedding in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The Iberostar Costa Dorada was a beautiful setting and the whole event was amazing.
Weddings are both challenging and rewarding. They require you to be on point all day long. You have to get the big moments, but you also have to capture the little moments and the small details. It was a very rewarding experience.
